Best website.....

I just wanted to get some people's views and opinions about what they think is the best or top 5 websites out there on the world wide web!

Sites that look good in their design, style, layout, functionality, colours etc... that is what i am after no what they offer but the look and feel of their site!

So let me know what ones you think are the best.....

A second for Google, clean, plain vanilla, black on white text, no gimmicks, it just works

Your question has no real answer. If your providing a search engine feature than google is by far the simplest and cleanest to use, but it wouldn't suit something that needs to be OTT like a fashion website for example.

Most websites aren't based solely on design unless that is the service they are providing, but even then functionality still has to be key.

What are you trying to achieve with your question, maybe if we know that we could offer some views, but your question is too generic. Its like saying whats the best colour?. Best colour for what though advertising, colour blind people, emotions etc
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.
