does anyone own this basic digital camera. i purchased this for xmas from tesco online and i know it's only a basic one but it was bought for an elderly relative so it couldn't be too technical. on the tesco website it has the following info

Shooting Modes ---Beach, Foliage, Landscape, Macro, Night scene portrait, Scenery, Snow, Underwater
Special Effects---- Black & white, Low sharpening, Neutral

i cannot find these options on the camera or the instruction leaflet.
am i missing something or is the spec wrong.??

The shooting modes and special effects might be available on that camera (although not listed on the above link!), although the 3 special effects might also be in the bundled software for off-camera editing.

I have a Vivitar 4MP camera (cant remember the model number) and any of those modes are accessible through the on screen menu when you are in shooting mode apart from Macro which there is a switch for.
