Sony 40" LCD TV opinions?

There is a Sony 40" LCD TV in Argos for £899.99.... see below for model number and further details etc

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=676358&tag=HP1_4a

Was just wondering if anyone knew if this telly is actually any good, as it seems like an amazing price given it's a Sony and 40".

Or does anyone know any good websites that might review it?

Thanks

just because its sony doens't make it the best - would say those samsungs are on a par if not better and you can find codes about for a further £20 or so off + quidco

After much study of these LCD screens, including the Sony KDL 40S2010U, recently bought by a friend of mine (which won the recent Which review - the 2000 model came second. most of the best buys were Sonys). I have to say that I wouldn't give any of them house room. Weird effects round edges, stuttery motion. I have put my money where my mouth is and gone out and bought a good old fashioned CRT television, wide screen yes, which still has lots of issues with fitting all the picture in the visible part of the screen. But at least it's a proper picture.
