Candy Rewards VENT

The owner of CandyRewards seems to think that is more than acceptable to send out mass emails including everybodys address down. Leaving others to openly spam you, the owner seems far from concerned about this fact and has done absolutly nothing to rectify or even apologise during yet another mistake made by CandyRewards. I urge you all to seriously consider what you want your details to be used for, and what the next mistake may be, It may well be your name and address this 15 year old little boy displays to the world.
It may well be worth closing your account for SweetCollect may be slow at sending sweets and for lots of emails but i have never ever known them to make my email address readily available to all of its members on a regular basis.

I also got one fo these a while back and two today, I let the first one go as a possible mistake, but when one came through today I sent an email back saying that it was absolutely appalling what was happening and asking them to remove all details they hold on me as I don't trust them with my information. They prodly announe on their front page that they don't sell your details to spammers...it seems they prefer to hand them out for free!
I am very concerned by this. It is a really bad thing for them to have done.0 -
emails that are sent to the noreply@candyrewards dont get read people need to email support@candyrewards.com
hope that helps
the second today was sent to test the system but i too ignored the first one thinking it was a glitch0 -
Yup, I guessed that from the email! I sent it to admin@candyrewards.com as I didn't think it counted as support as such.0

they hav shut the forum down now, and I think the main site wont be far behind.
What a way to treat your loyal customers!0 -
Always thought this site was just a market informationgathering scheme. I never did receive anything from them. If you shop online, checkout mutualpoints - never let me down yet, and the money can be used to buy the kids the odd treat.Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0

It is very easy to learn how to send an email to undisclosed recipients.
Another of my pet hates is people forwarded funny / joke emails with a long list of recipients and then all those of the friend before etc etc. This way lots of people get to see your email address that you do not want to. GrrrrrBaby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0
