Help needed of faulty goods!

Options
This month I bought some shoes in a sale which were £300 reduced to £50, when I recieved them they were the wrong size so I sent them back and now they've sent me the right size however one shoe has a faulty zip, it did say this on the website that the shoes MAY be faulty. Is there anything I can do? I would like a pair of shoes that I can wear and I have e-mailed asking for a refund and they said no, but I havent had a reply for an exchange yet.

Any help would be much appreciated

Saying "shoes may be faulty" is, legally, pretty redundant as it doesn't change anything regarding consumer rights. Unless they sold the shoes as "with a faulty zip", you are entitled to a refund under the SOGA.

So you bought a faulty pair of shoes... and now complaining that they're... faulty?

I'm not sure I agree with above. I think your probably just disappointed the fault wasn't something more subtle. Is the ZIP fault somethign you could repair or replace perhaps?

What about using DSRs, if it's less than 7 working days since you recieved the order, you can tell the shop that you want to return and they have to refund you full purchase price and postage(and maybe return postage depending on t&cs)
If at first you don't succeed, maybe bomb disposal isn't the best career choice.
