mbna successful claim...28 daya later no cheque???

Looking for some advice, we have a successful claim with mbna and we recieved a lettee dated 22nd june saying the
cheque would arrive within 28days today is the 28th day and no cheque what shall we do next?
Isn't the knowledge that comes from experience more valuable than the knowledge that doesn't?

    I would give them a ring to make sure, not unless they are sending it out for it to be posted by a courier, they should be able to confirm.

    Chase them up, but before you do check whether the letter says "28 days" or "28 working days".

    If it's 'working days' then I'd still call them, just to "check the money will definitely be paid by the deadline" ;)
  • Your are doing better than me!! I made a complaint in November 2010. I had a letter mid June to say they would pay out but still waiting for the letter to confirm how much. When I rang they said it would be within the next few weeks!! Hope;ess!!

    Can I just ask, have you got any outstanding balance on your card? I am just wondering if they will send me a cheque or whether the balance will have to be taken off my card?
