Since last week my gmail won't accept my password and I do not have access to the secondary email address I gave when signing up to gmail, the answer to secret question or verification code asked by google to reopen account. The information has either been forgotten or lost. Is there anything else I can do to get back into my account? The google Q&A site doesn't give much help. Thanks.

You don't even know the answer to your secret question? Hmmm...
Well, if on the main screen you select "can't remember my username" then it will ask for the secondary account and then finally give you the option "cannot access this account?"
I suppose you just need to provide as much info as possible. Eventually it will get to a real person and they could hopefully verify you by e.g. you telling them some emails you've received recently.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

The secret question asks the name of your first teacher and the answer I've given doesn't work, I don't remember being asked this when I signed up. I've had hassle-free access every day for so long it was quite a shock to find I couldn't get in.0

Try contacting gmail. We had the same problem with my Mums hotmail account, she'd had it so long that she didn't have a clue what her secret question was and had locked herself out by not logging in often enough. Hotmail then asked her other questions, such as the names of her folders, which different ISPs we'd used in the last few years etc. Then they reset the password for her.0
