Hello.

I ordered some fishing gear from Argos Outlet on 11th July and the website said 1st class delivery.
Got an email back later that day stating order being processed. Next day no update from them. 13th July at about 18:00 email saying order despatched and you will get it 1/2 workink days.
The email said that to track your order go to DHL. Tracking number wrong so i tried Yodel,HDNL and Royal Mail and tracking number wrong.
No delivery Thursday so i sent an email and the reply was parcel sent by Royal Mail and i may have to wait upto 15 working days for delivery.
I have spent 2 days at home not going out incase they turned up.
This week i have had a neighbour looking out for delivery vans and still no parcel.
Argos outlet are a joke and they say 1/2 days for delivery and give you misleading emails.
Has anybody else had the same problems as me or am i just unlucky????????????????.

whats the tracking numbers 1st two digits,and how many digits are there in total?

Hi.

The tracking number they gave me starts CB and there is 10 numbers and letters in total.
The email states that it has been shipped by Yodel and i can use that tracking number but ehen i emailed to ask where it is was told that it has been shipped by Royal Mail.
I can't understand why it has been sitting in a sorting depot for nearly 7 days now.
Argos outlet is on ebay if that helps.

Not an RM number for sure
Ie used Argos outlet a few times and the items were always sent Royal Mail tracked from what I recall
It sounds like theres been an issue or damage/loss TBH

Thank you for the replies.

Sent an email to them last night and just got a reply back.
It said sorry and if i want to cancel i can and i will get a full refund. they told me it was sent 1st class on 13/7/2011 so why are they offering me a refund?. I don't think they have sent it anyway. There is no tracking numbers for Royal Mail delivered items they have told me.
I had a look at Argos Outlets feedback on ebay and there are 10's of people who have not had their orders delivered so how can they have a 98% good feedback is beyond me. Is Argos Outlet run by argos or is it independant does anyone know?.

Just an update.

I sent ebay a dispute email on Friday and the reply was they will wait till they hear from Argos to find out what to do.
I sent Argos 3 emails on Thurs/Friday and only got a reply after i opened a dispute.
The reply was wait 15 working days before i open a claim from them for lost delivery.
The item i ordered was for my son who is going on a few days fishing trip and needed a bivvy to sleep in and as he is going in 2 days i have had to spend most of yesterday looking in shops for 1 and spent more than he wanted to.
If you look on Argos outlets ebay feedback you will see loads of people have not had the stuff delivered so why do argos use Royal mail if they are so c**p as they keep saying RM are the reason for so may lost parcels.
I did ask argos to cancel the order but they say i have to wait fo 15 days and then i can but the problem is i wont be in England as i will be away on holiday for 2 weeks.
