For anyone who ordered this over Xmas at £579. Just had a call from JL and its being delivered Tuesday at the price of £579 too. Its still £795 on the website. I don't know if its still at the reduced price instore but maybe worth a call if anyone else is interested.

Ask them to double check if it is on price match. When I rang initially (30 Dec) they quoted me £795, but after checking I was able to order it at £579. I was told if it wasn't still on price match when it came in stock I would have the choice of paying normal price or cancelling the order.
I got a phone call on Wednesday to say it was in stock, and my c/card was charged £579 :j
I picked up the set today and am very pleased with it.0 -
John Lewis will def not honour this pricematch anymore. Does anybody know of the next best price match that i can go back to John Lewis with?

Right.....
Just rang an Empire Direct store and have been told that they have no stock in any of their stores. Although the Dixons link is a good price, JL will not match this, as it is the price instore that they pricematch. Does anybody know of a shop in the UK that sells this TV instore for less than £600 and has them in stock?
P.S - Tightrs... how did you get JL to sell it for £589?? Which store did this pricematch for you? When I rang Cheadle they could see that they had sold the TV for that price but would no longer pricematch it.0
