Bt phone lines have been there so long they've rotted so now I'm going wireless can anyone give me some advice on which is best & obviously cheapest, I do know I need a 802.11G router. MERRY FESTIVE SEASON TO ALL SAVERS, AND TO OUR MARTIN LEWIS> BLOODY NICE CHAP.

You'll need to say what you intend to use it for. That is to say, do you want an ADSL router, do you want to use it to network other computers and what kind of distance do you need it to operate over?
At the risk of stating the obvious, the router will still use some of the existing BT wiring.........

sorry will be using it for desktop pc & laptops (2) wiring for bt line is main line in not in bad condition i believe0

do you mean a wireless adapter.. if you have an ethernet card in the PC next to the phone point, then this could remain wired, rather than wireless.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
