Welcome to the forum.
There are loads of threads about this type of scheme - usually referred to as 'Rent a Roof' schemes as well as some information from Martin on likely savings.
There are mixed opinions on the merits of these schemes.
I suggest you a search on this gas section and the 'Green and Ethical moneysaving' forum on MSE.0
