Say you purchased a vehicle 01/09/09, had a service 02/08/10 (due to the most convenient time). If I was to say have a service this year late August, will this invalidate the car's warranty? e.g. - 30th / 31st August 2011.

    Probably.
The most convenient time should then have been earlier rather than later in the month if you get what i mean.
Read the T&Cs but, to me, it's just giving the warranty guy ammo to send you packing.

Hi, if you want to be sure I would always get it done slightly earlier rather than later.

One car I had stated that it had to be done within 500 miles of the annual mileage figure. ( if it was a 10,000 mile schedule it had to be done by 10,500 or at 1 year if mileage less than 10,000. ).

I haven't seen this on any other of my cars since though.
