Valid Parking Ltd Fine
newbieinvestor75
I recently was given a 'fine' from a company called Valid Parking Ltd for £90 (£70 if paid within 28 days).
I live in an apartment block with gated parking and the landlords have recently brought in a new parking policy. Essentially each apartment gets a resident and a visitors pass.
I hold the visitors pass as my partner owns the apartment and I rent from him.
The day I recieved the fine I had parked in - front of the building in an area which is not marked as a parking space, nor is it marked anywhere that states you should not park there.
Is this fine legally enforcable?
Also, should I write stating I am not paying it or am I better off ignoring and not giving them any of my details
Thanks

But at what points will I have to reply - I feel I may loose my nerve once I start getting threatened with legal action0 -
Would you reply to a Nigerian scam email?
Are you easily fooled?

Why not take the offensive and cut your managing agent a new a*sehole for letting these predators loose on the property?
Talk to them, not the invalid PPC!0 -
Well guys...
I phoned the management company of my apartment block and explained the situation. They agreed the fine was not fairly justified and instructed Valid Parking to cancel the fine
I today hold a letter from them confirmed the fine is rescinded!
Result!0 -

The directors live at 33 elmsway bramhall stockport, send them a letter and tell them they have no chance of getting any money from you, and they should get a real job, also report them to trading standards and the british parking body that they must creap to, if they get loads of complaints they will lose the right to try and con people0

Be careful we had a "Valid Parking troll" here a while back spouting they had an excellent record at pursuing people through the county courts! May have been one of the habitants of above address?
Mind you never came back with any evidence when asked too?
Do you think it was Bovine excrement?
