Asda Online Exclusive Insurance - experiences pls?

Has anybody got any experiences of this company? I've paid my premium in full and emailed evidence (NCD & drivers license), however I have been contacted by email and post saying they're going to cancel my policy (with a £75 cancellation fee) as they haven't received the evidence required :mad:

I've emalied them with the documents twice and heard nothing, after googling them I was alarmed to find that others have had the same problems.

Just wanted to see what others' experiences were?

Did you delete the "sent" emails with the "sent dates" on them, can they be forwarded by email to the insurer to an email given to you by the insurer on the phone?

I'm not sure if emails would be allowed as proof though someone on this forum maybe able to answer that question.

£75 cancelation is a little more than' over the top!

I have kept all sent and forwarded emails. There is no phone number for them and I am becoming increasingly alarmed at the terrible reports that I have read about them taking peoples money and running!

I'm going through exactly the same experience... to the letter! Posted documents twice, no direct contact number given in letter received, no responses to any e-mails sent, claims of previous letters sent from company but not received.
Having spent many,many hours online since Friday trying to source some info, I've found a customer service number for Asda Online Exclusive - 0844 579 6490 (office hrs only) I also called Asda Complaints and was given Asda Customer Relations number to contact though he didn't seem confident they could do anything for me, but I feel they should know what kind of company is using their name. 0800 952 0101(Office hours only)
I feel exactly the same as yourself and apparently hundreds of others online who feel unfairly treated and bullied by this company. Does it not seem odd that we've all had EXACTLY the same experience?!!? I will NEVER deal with this company again, and will advise all to stay well clear. :mad:

P.s ...Hope these numbers are some help though

I think laziness made me insure with asda again this year, they were ok to insure with last year. However, this year I have been requested to provide my licence and proof of no claims from my last insurer - which was asda! And they're threatening to cancel my policy unless I provide it! I know £75 is a lot of money to lose, but maybe it's a small price to pay to escape the asylum that is asda!

Received Email saying £534.71 has been charged for Car Insurance which I never ordered or wanted
The contact number is for egroupltd which is a premium rate number £1.02 per minute
The Email contact says only that I should contact my Bank
This all sounds very dodgy to me, don't know what ASDA are letting their name be used for
