Account number help

Options
I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction...

I have looked at my credit report and can see some old accounts that I think there may be an issue with PPI. My problem is, is that the credit report only gives me the last four digits of the account number and I no longer have the paper work.

Is there a way of finding out what the full account number is or can I go to the provider with the information that I have (partial account number and start and end dates of finance) in the hope that they can track me down!

I found a good way recently (wish I had found this way at the beginning when I started would have saved lots of trouble). I have internet banking and look back at old statements, found the payment dates and amounts and e-mailed my bank to ask if they could supply me with the agreement number even though the loans were from different banks. They responded within a few days with the actual agreement numbers. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Dizzy.

These are old accounts though and I am not sure that my online banking will go back that far, plus we have moved in the last 12 months and had a mammoth shredding session :rotfl:

    Worth a look though. Thanks
