Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but I just can't see this working.

Unfortunately the eBay market is saturated. eBay have been slowly but surely 'squeezing' sellers for some time now - really making a push for the consumers to buy and in an attempt to prevent or even stop the fraud that used to occur from some members 'price-fixing' their items by creating two eBay accounts, fixing a reserve on the item at a specific 'ideal price and using the other account to bid and gradually creep the price up to meet the reserve.

eBay basically want's to become a 'one-stop shop' for all things online. It's 'trying' to compete with the likes of Amazon but has a long way to go yet. - Tbh, it's kind of a good idea for them as it allows them to offer more and increased security and protection to consumers - so they're not getting ripped off. (As easily). Still happens though.

Will conduct some more market research to confirm whether there are enough people interested in this type of service.

Anyone else have any advice?

my local evening class brochure just turned up , all the types of courses you are trying to do are in there and at low cost

As opposed to asking family and friends - who will cheerfully tell you its a great idea then watch your business fail miserably rather than be honest with you - place an ad in your local paper(s) , on gumtree, newsagents, library notice boards, etc for a couple of weeks and see what sort of a response you get.

I repeat this is not a service for people to make millions from the internet just some additional income to supplement their exsisting salaries.

I realise that people are trying to say that this idea is a no go, i can accept that but there is no need to take the !!!!!
