I got my camera yesterday (14/02/07) and had exactly the same problem.
Phoned Kodak today and the person had the other end went oh, as if it was a common problem. And sent me a email and later a return label to go on the parcel and I had to phone UPS for them to collect the camera about 1:45 pm they collected it.
Returning the camera was free as the camera was faulty, Fingers cross, it won't work at kodak or I'll have to pay £40 for the delivery charges.

The person said it was very unlikey I get a replacement because the camera is out of stock and that I may get a refund because of this.

This is my second digital Kodak camera I've had, and has failed to work, all faith in kodak is lost.
Also I got a 2gb memory card coming, which is turning to be a waste of money now, as I haven't got a camera to use it with.
