tuesday last week(22/2) i ordered a piece of electrical equipment from boots (just short of £200) and the website stated it would be delivered on the following tuesday(1/3). however on the friday(25/2) i got home from work to find a package on my doorstep, not signed for, just sitting there for the world to see?!?!?
Now looking at my online boots account it is showing that the item is still being processed at there warehouse and my credit card has not yet been charged! What should i do,
1. call and complain that the package was left on the doorstep
2. call and ask why i haven't received my package (they have no proof of delivery)
3. leave ir alone as i have yet to be charged?
any advice would be greatly recieved

I would leave it a while & see if it appears on your credit card statement, if it does then I would call & ask where the hell your package is. If you get the chance cancel the order there & then or just wait until the "replacement" arrives & then send it back for a refund.
If only I had the bottle to actually do this when things like this happen to me, I have a friend who has done this several times & got away with it but I would just stutter & give myself away. Oh, and of course it's fraudulent so I would be far too scared of the recriminations.0 -
Word of warning.....the Boots site is well known for being inaccurate. The details just don't seem to get updated with any kind of speed.
Don't think that what YOU see on the screen will be the same as what a Boots customer service advisor will see. They will have the correct details and should know whether something has been dispatched or not.Herman - MP for all!0 -
but who is to say that someone didnt steal the package? i would wait and ask in couple of days where the package is... im sure the delivery person will be reprimanded... for leaving it on the step....spanky xx
