I hate Windows Live mail!

Has anyone any other suggestions as to what else to use? I use 4 different gmail accounts and like to have them all together instead of having to log in and out of the accounts.

I also used Thunderbird with it's add-in calendar functionality, and found it did the job. Then I got Office and so use Outlook. Both handle multiple accounts quite adequately.
Don't like leaving all my email out there on the web for any hacker to have a go at. Prefer to download them and delete after receiving. If I'm away, I can still see any new messages my computer hasn't yet downloaded.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. The only problem with Thunderbird is it won't download custom hotmail folders.0

Sounds like more that the problem with Hotmail is that it uses POP3 (which isn't designed for the task) instead of IMAP.
No problems using Thunderbird with an IMAP based email service, but don't bother except to keep a local archive and for the search functionality.0 -
gotta be honest, the only e-mail prog I really like is full Outlook. Thunderbird I find slow to load and boring, Express is ok but limited functionality compared to full, and live mail is just plain bl00dy awful......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

I went from Outlook Express to Windows Mail to Thunderbird to Live Mail to Outlook as I progressed from XP to Windows 7 via the horror that is Vista.
Have to agree that Outlook is the better package, but at a price. The only problem I had with Thunderbird was exporting my messages from it into Outlook (Live Mail was very short lived and barely worth the effort). Thunderbird would be my second choice though and an excellent freebie IMO.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
