Well you certainly pick your dates - a solitary Saturday night in the peak of holidays.
Best I can find is £59 per room at HI Express Garforth - less than an hour on a normal day BUT if you stay anywhere west of York you'll sit for 1hr on A64 at Hopgrove roundabout on the Sunday am.
If I were you I'd contact www.yorkshire.com and see if they can come up with a B&B/Guest House for you0 -

Your best bet for accomodation is Scarborough. There are loads of guest houses in the town. Contact the Tourist Information centre in Scarborough & let them make contact with the B & B's.
Best to do that ASAP, Scarborough is very popular with all types. All the bikers come flooding in & families too. You should get lucky so long as you leave it to Tourist Information.
Other locations further inland are rather expensive but Scarborough is cheap & cheerful.

The Youth Hostel at Helmsley has a six bed room for £121. You can do self catering too so can make your own dinner, breakfast and packed lunch if needs be.

You can also use your Tesco vouchers if you have any.
Or can you borrow a tent and some camping gear? You can camp at Flamingoland although I have no idea about prices.
I am only a few miles away but dont have room for you all I am afraid!0 -
