I want to pay off £4k but I also want to go on holiday. Reach for the stars I say !5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Without making extra payments it will be £6K but I want to make it nearer £11,500. This will be 50% of my remaining debt so if I can do this then I can easily be debt free 2 years from now.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
currently: £13,353.25DFW Nerd 178Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
I am determined to get rid of
Loan 12 x 206 = £2472
Greenwood = £140
Vanquis = £500
MBNA = £1000
£2472 is guaranteed to be paid off so the other £1600 is my 1st aim. I have just sent letter to claim £1300 from cap 1 so if that comes through i will well on my way.
1) All credit card debt will be gone by December 07 (June 07 if cap 1 come thru)
2) Reduce overdraft by at least half by December 07 (get rid of it all if cap 1 come through)Married my amazing hubby on 8th September 2012 :j:j0 -
Personally, I want to clear all £3k - should be doable
For my parents, working on £200 a month for now plus the little extra from September ... £3k also I'd think - 10% gulp!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
well i have less than 3ks worth of payments to make on my loan, which ends in november so hopefully that will be the end of it then0

All of it I hope!
Will make it my sole aim in life!
So that should be circa £7k!!!!
Although its baby steps all that way!
Anything I can put aside I will!
And on that note I've got £55 that didnt take much to get coming from Quidco! So that leaves me £6945 to go! Woohoo!!!!!
Anyone else excited by their debt free ambitions right now?!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
well i am debt free so... but i want to save at least £5000 next year... and thats pushing it too the limit too as i am going abroud next year for the first time too0

I have around £900 left on my credit card (now only have 1 not 4!) and a loan with approx £3000 remaining to pay, so they are my goals for 2007. I will hopefully acheive this by the end of the first half of 07.
I also have a loan for my conservatory (that I've never classed as debt as it was planned and budgeted for "debt") - it woudl be great if I could start to make some extra payments to this to bring down the term.0 -
Hoping to pay ccs off and then there's the loan repayments plus would like to save some - doable but tough!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

I plan to repay at least £7700 off in 2007.
That equates to £600 a month off my study loan, and £500 from my overdraft.
Of course, paying off more would be a bonus, but this is my goal for the year.Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)
Savings: £5,100 - Target by end of 2008 £5,000+
Net Worth 1/7/06: -£32,698 -- Net Worth 25/8/08: -£13,350.0
