Paying into Santander - omitted Surname after reference!!

Hi,
I made a payment from my Natwest account into my Santander Savings account today.
I inputted 09-00-00 and 00050005, and put my account name (Rxxxxxxxx) as the Reference. I forgot that it actually should be (RxxxxxxxxSUR) - "SUR" being the first 3 characters of my surname.
Does it matter? I will call Santander later this pm, but if anybody has any prior similar experience that would be appreciated!
Thanks!
