  • Well week 1 almost over, I seem to have acheived a balanced buget plan for the next year or so, paying full payments to the Creditors. Set up 2 new accounts, 1 with citibank and 1 with NatWest.

I have managed to spend only £41 for food whereas I would normally spend arounf £90 by now. Hope this continues in the same vain. In that £41 I also managed to cook 8 portions each of Beef in ale and Chilli. Bought a sack of spuds so meals should be Ok for a while. Filled my car up with Petrol on Xmas eve and still 1/4 of a tank left so managed to cut back there. The wife seems to manage on around £17 per week for fuel now.

Wonder if I can keep it up tho?

  • Got £350 yesterday evening from a loan to a friend i made last summer. Paid this months MBNA and Cap1 pymts and had over £100 change. Completed £48 of mystery shops with £42 planned for next weeek. Im chipping away at it well this year so far.

Spent £15 on energy saving candle bulbs for a 5 buld fitting in the hall, where the missus would have started a row about, she only laughed then said ok. Life must be on wake up for us all now!
