    Hi Moozie,

Glad your evening went well - sounds like fun was had by all.

I'm absolutely chuffed as managed to bag a bargain in the sales and got a watch I nearly bought last week at full price for £900 less. :j Therefore that's an ouber £900 saving that can go straight into the mortgage fund. apart from that sandwich for £2.50 and that's it so going well today yey!! Think the girlfriend has bought food for tomorrow so try and make tomorrow a minimum spend day :)

Hello byrneandy and welcome! Thanks :) Nice saving there! :T

I got up and got ready to go to Tesco's this morning with a list for my menu planner for the week and as the other half decided to come we ended up spending 140 pounds for a weeks shop! Worse than taking a kid! I figure we spent all Christmas week away though so its not a massive overspend and we got cheap Christmas cards for next year, some cooking utensils and booze for New Year (we are just going to house parties nearby... moneysaving- no bar prices and no taxis!) So my splitting that we spent 70 pounds each.

I also had my direct debit for Plan international go out so that was 15 pounds - we split that two ways as well so 7.50 each.

    Total spend - 77.50

Won't be spending anything else today, staying in to clean and chill out with some christmas present dvd's.

Just a single solitary quid! But on a good thing - a new 2007 diary for my spending for next year from the Poundshop.
Giving up smoking (again) so nothing else - will not go near the shops again, temptation is too much in the early days!

Took the Boys to a shopping center to hunt down the elusive Nintendo DS lite's (seems to be a rush for them post Christmas)
Avoided next and M&S (boo hoo) but did go in Borders. Managed to only spend £2.50 - and that was on a new calender @ half price (which of course we do need)
So, that's my total for the day £2.50:T :T (it's good for me :p )
