Im looking for an all in one printer scanner jobbie, I am leaning towards the epson6000, mainly because the epson ink cartridges are cheaper to get, has anyone any ideas on this, is this a decent one? Its in comet at the moment at around £79.99 I have looked on the net and havent come across it any cheaper.

I have been happy with my HP but the model (PSC 2110) is no longer available. I use a black and white laser printer for the majority of my printing, and just use the HP for colour photocopying and printing. Inkjets are really expensive in terms of ink and the manufacturers are starting to clamp down on remanufactured cartridges…. Check the magazines for reviews if you are looking to print photographs (although Epson score well from memory) otherwise any model is likely to suffice so look for a discounted model from any of the well known brands.0

My advice is simple - never buy a Lexmark, complete waste of money. I've always found Epson to be pretty reliable.0

I recently got a refurb Brother off Ebay for £50. One reason I got a Brother was because the refills are very cheap, and the reason I chose a refurb is because printers never seem to last more than about a year anyway, so its pointless spending a packet on them.
Mine is a DPC-315CN. The print is good, the scanner is ok, but not great. It depends what you want it for.
