If you hurry, you can get 60% off tickets to High Voltage Festival with Groupon today:
http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/london/high-voltage/545097
Day tickets for £25 each or weekend tickets for £44.
These are normally roughly £60 for day tickets or £100 for weekend.
The festival takes place in Victoria Park in London, this weekend (23rd/24th July), and features Judas Priest, Slash, Thin Lizzy, Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Thunder, Electric Wizard (my personal favourite) and many more.
Has anyone else bought this? I received my email voucher today, but can't work out if that's my ticket or if I need to buy the ticket online somewhere. If so, where?

Still available today, but now here:

I went last year and it was brilliant (though they apparently lost £1 million on it!).0 -
Hi, I bought a ticket for Sunday but how does the whole thing work? Do I need to do anything else or will I get emailed an e-ticket????
*UPDATE* Received an email late yesterday with an attachment that would appear to be my 'Ticket' so that would seem to be how it works....0 -

Groupon need to get their act together! Now you have to pay £3 instead of £2.50 because there's no time for the tickets to be posted so you have to pick them up. Also, *tip* don't do what I've just done! The timer made me panic lol and I clicked to buy insurance at £4.49 per ticket (I bought three tickets
). It looks like a accept terms and conditions box. You have to go through the checkout process separately for each ticket.

Absolutely gutted I missed out on this deal. My partner and friends all really want to go but can't really afford £60 per ticket including fees. If only I'd seen this offer on Groupon sooner0

Don't worry, High Voltage obviously still haven't sold enough tickets, and have just launched a 2 for 1 offer. Really I feel sorry for anyone who bought at full price ages ago.
Here's the link (not quite as cheap as the Groupon offer but there's only a few £s in it):
