Question about the NS&I accounts

Can we make regular contributions to this account upto its £15000 limit or is it only an initial lump sum we can deposit?

    You can. SteveSilva. I made £300 per month investment into NS&I to take advantages of different RPI in each month about two years ago.

    If we're talking savings certificates - both index-linked and fixed rate - they you can invest up to £15k per issue (currently 48 for IL and 97 for Fixed), so if these are closed and a new issue is opened then you can save up to another £15k

    Portfolios are like personalities - one that is balanced is usually preferable.
