tomtom teccie question

If i bought a tomtom one would i be able to copy all the information off a tomtom 510 sd card and then copy it onto another sd card and put it into a tomtom one .Would this then give you the same maps and camera database thats on the 510 on to the tom one ? In other words turn a tomtom one into a scaled down 510 or does it not work like that ?

Probably one to ask on pocketgpsworld forums but my guess is no, it wouldn't work.

Definately won't work, the maps are tied to the device - it will either not see them at all or will prompt you for a code, which you won't have!

Maps probably wouldn't work. POI held in external files (OV2) would be OK I should think.
