Know the feeling. Managed to get one in my basket at 5.30pm on john lewis but by the time i got through checkout it was gone. Too late for comet too.

Don't know but at this rate maybe 14 days assuming thats for sure is quite good...I refuse to pay any more given how much my xbox is worth now ;o(

Ordered and paid for my Wii before Christmas with delivery on 21st December.

Amtrak didn't deliver on 21st, or 22nd, or 23rd. Comet said that they had been too busy to deliver it - it would arrive on 27th and I could tell the recipient this. On 27th it didn't arrive. Amtrak told Comet that I had arranged delivery for Saturday 30th... somehow via telepathy as you can never get through to the depot that is 40 minutes away.

Surprise, surprise. No delivery on 30th and toady Comet are still waiting for a response to their most recent email to Amtrak. The most honest members of staff indicate that many consoles 'got lost' in the run up to Christmas. They mentioned the driver's mate rather than drivers.

I still don't have my Wii after 12 days and they are doing very little to locate the original/replace it.

Sorry for the rant.... just very very peeved.

I've got one "lost" with no attempt to track it and been told to get the sender to send another one.

Funny because I didn't mention what it was or where it was from.

On the tracking page mine's "out for delivery" since the 27th meaning the driver loaded it into the van and decided not to bring it back to the depot.

Following a friends advice i'm going to do my best to get the driver sacked!

Went to Game at 9am looking for one – the manager wasn’t very helpful, gave no indication when they were getting them in - phoned some other Game stores - no joy.

Had a tipoff that my local Argos had some in so rang them up but they were all reserved - the very helpful lady then checked other local stores and reserved one for me at another branch. Rushed over there and finally got one from Argos (they had 3 in stock - all went very quickly!). My advice if you want to get a Wii... ring your local Argos (early) and see if they can check stock at local shops and reserve one for you (if they can find one!)
