Thanx, LINDA

BOHO is a fashion term. Sienna Miller (Jude Law's girlfriend)is always described as BOHO, she always looks a bit hippyish to me.

The last time around the same look was "Bohemian". There's nothing new in fashion!

It's a term sellers use when they don't know what else to put in the title. I know because I've done it myself!

I take it to mean slightly hippy, bohemian, fashionable.

    Soo

this really does my napper in...

i hate it when people just tag words on the end of their description so their items will come up on more searches

BOHO/SIENNA is very common at the minute - gggrrrr

i mean - how is THIS BOHO ?

That is commonly known as Keyword Spamming and its actually a reportable eBay offence. ;)

That auction in particular could also be reported for a misleading descriptive title.

Thanks everyone, that makes a lot of sense, Boho short for bohemian, meaning hippy. Like you, I too dislike expressions being used simply as verbal filling in. Now my curiosity is satisfied, I will be able to sleep at night!!!!!!!

I have used "Boho" in auctions of mine when the item WAS "Boho" in style as it seemed to be a valid keyword that people would use if looking for that particular style of clothing, but I've never used "Sienna" or "Kate" (As in Kate Moss) which I've seen used alot of too.Do people really search using the keywords "Sienna" or "Kate"?

Does keyword spamming work in reverse? eg. 'NOT Next, Gap, Benetton, etc'. That really p*sses me off...

I am not bothered by the "added words" I have searched for diesel and found a top by Ted baker which was just as nice! It also gives you an idea of which other items you can find that is similar! The link someone gave to a stupid website with the words boho obviously looked at what searches are more popular and puts as many words he can fit in!
    :p:p Angel :p:p
