Do you have a front garden at all? Why not have an outdoor book sale over the bank holiday?
  • I sell books on Amazon and make a small profit so it is not all bad news. Textbooks and non-fiction books on specialised subjects sell well, also fiction by less well-known authors. Go through your books and take out anything that you think might fit under these categories to list online. You can check what other people are selling the same book for before you list your book.

For the rest of your books such as mainstream fiction, try a carboot - 20p or 30p per paperback is standard - so it will depend whether you have enough to make a profit.

But if you want to get rid of them in one go, as suggested above, sell via the Wholesale & Job Lots section in Ebay. Your buyer will probably be an Amazon seller.
