TomTom 6 Navigator Bluetooth

Hi,

I want to get TT6 for my MDA Vario. Does anybody have any recs whether to get it all packaged by TT or whether to buy a separate GPS Receiver?

I want to use it in different vehicles including a motorcycle. I also want the European maps version.

  • It doesn't really matter either way - any standard bluetooth gps will work with TomTom!

You can get it as a bundle >>TomTom Navigator 6 EU Bluetooth
  • Thanks,

This is the best price I can find. I just wondered if it was cheaper/better to get a different GPS Unit

Doubt it. TT are a very greedy company who like to fleece their customers and are making it more and more difficult to get there s/w to work with non TT GPS units.
  • Isn't the bluetooth interface an open standard?

Maybe TT is the way to go then...

Rubbish, just bought a cheap Holox BT74R bluetooth GPS receiver from Ebay and it works perfectly with TTN6 on my SPV M600...TomTom options even has an 'other bluetooth receiver' option in the GPS settings.....hardly making it difficult for us are they
