I am having real problems getting anywhere with my PPI refund request on my old Cahoot Loan - I have prived my old policy/account number but they are denying all knowledge and say they cannot process my request any further. I have no more information and as far as I am aware Cahoot were part of Abbey National who were taken over by Santander - so does anybody have any suggestions??
Thanks
Thanks

Looking at their website ( http://www.cahoot.com/ ) you're correct - they are part of Santander.
Out of interest, how long ago was the loan repaid? It may be they simply don't keep records longer than necessary.0 -
I spoke with Cahoot this morning about PPI on an old flexi-loan that was passed to Santander last year. Cahoot told me that all the records were erased 6 months ago when they got a new computer system and I need to phone Santander.
I did that straight after and a very nice lady took my complaint over the phone.
Call Santander direct, they are really helpful. I had my last PPI claim with them paid out 2 weeks from the date I wrote the first letter.0 -
Thanks I will give them a call first thing and post my results as and when. Wish me luck :-)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
