Egg PPI reclaiming

I had a PPI costing just over £2000 for a loan of £5000,
I put in a claim with egg and they sent a form to me which is from the FOS. I hadnt heard from them in a couple of weeks and so last Friday I had logged in and saw my debt reduced by just over £400.
I called egg and they could only say that my complaint had been upheld and that the £400 was interest repaid as goodwill guesture.
Apparently I should be hearing more from them by letter very soon.

The Monday following, I logged into my egg account to see that the loan had vanished from the site. It looks like the transfer to Arrow Global took place that very weekend.

I am hoping the cheque will come for the £2000 this week, but they were actually unable to tell me what the actual value would be. As far as im concerned the £400 was soley an interest payment on top of what Ive actually been missold?

I'll reply back to this with an update as soon as I hear from egg, or get a cheque... (I could really do with a new desktop PC and another £1000+ being wiped from my debt management plan!)

Well done so far. Here's hoping for more to be winging its way to you!

Do you mind me asking for some time details? When was the loan, when did you start the complaint, etc?
    Thanks again

I dont want to give specific details (ie the exact amounts, and dates) until I get the issue fully resolved. Overall time frame so far is just over a month.. I did have a couple of appology letters to say that it was still being looked at or that no decision has been made, during that time...
Soon as I get this letter and cheque is cleared I will give the full time scale including exact dates :)
