"they said it's common side-effect of anaesthetic"
Really? When that happened to me my dentist decided I was phobic and doubled the length of my appointments!
Another reason to get a new dentist.

I didn't have any anesthetic! I only sat in the chair while the dentist looked inside my mouth and then stuck the crown back on! It took 6 or 7 goes to see all my teeth I was shaking so much! The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Often the adrenaline in the Local Anaesthetic can make people a little shaky, it's the same adrenaline that made the OP shaky (stress/fear reaction) only from a different place.
Who are you suggesting gets a new dentist PP?0

The commonest reason for people to feel shaky, sick etc after a dental injection is not the injection but the adrenaline the body produces in fight or flight reflex. So indeed most people who shake after an injection or ,in ops case, after simple treatment do so because of the body producing so much adrenaline because they are anxious.
It would seem entirely appropriate to allow longer appointments for someone who had that sort of reaction.0
