Just bought a "Skipper" toddler bed from John Lewis for £60 which you could get £10 off with a voucher if you order online. Its the same brand "East Coast" as the one in the link above but cheaper with the code. John Lewis offer 3 mattresses which cost £70 - £100 - £120 depending on covering and whether your child has allergies.
HTH.
Forgot to add you can get a bed in Ikea for around £70 complete FWIW.0 -
hiya
i purchased a one off e bay brand new saplings cordoba junior bed for £111.74 which was £99.99 buy it now for the bed plus 11.75 postage when it arrived it was a full cot bed with free foam mattress i enquired in various local shops about the price of these and they were in the region of £170 with mattress ,seller contacted me same day i paid by paypal to arrange best day for delivery and i recieved it the next day it looks lovely up and my daughter who is 15 months has settled in it no problems there are quite a few other sellers with the same items but they are lot higher priced the only reason i went for this one was because i did not think i needed cot sides but added bonus i got them anyway,i dont know if i am allowed to post the seller on here but if you want to know pm me and i will give you the details
hope this makes sense thanks boots0 -
focus had a cool car shaped bed, was a good price, i just can't remember what!
worth a look if you have one nearby:rudolf:0 -
Ikea had a fab junior bed at £29, basic mattress was about another £10. Bought this for my DD because her room is too small for a full size bed. Its a good, sturdy little bed!0

When I said Ikea had one for £70 I was referring to their sprung mattress and a mattress pad. I didn't go with foam as it gets too hot and taking a friends advice I bought the most comfortable I could afford and it seems to be paying off as the sleeping is getting more regular.0

Next had some nice beds for children half price.
You want something that will last you a few years at least - I bought my son one from Ikea and it didn't last 7 months the slats underneath broke - I believe you get what you pay for.
Worth spending the most on the mattress as you can always use it on the next bed you get!0 -

This seems a good offer from Kiddicare, it comes with mattress, duvet & pillow and sheet/duvet cover pillowcase in blue, pink or beige for £109.97 with free delivery.
I've used Kiddicare before when I needed a new pushchair and I found their customer service excellent.0 -

Cab second that - both our girls used this bed - and then we sold it on. Can't go wrong for the money!0 -

That seems a fab deal - Kiddicare are brilliant they gave me a new stroller when my one broke within the year. They didn't quibble about it like some would or try and repair it. It was a decent maclaren stroller as well.0
