A reasonably well insulated room might not freeze if there is a freezer continously running in the same space. The amount of heat given off by a freezer could well keep the space from freezing. Just a thought. I suppose it depends on just how cold the weather is likely to be next winter.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

This winter cost me a pressure washer (in the garage) ice ruptured internals - and there are some heat sources in there such as a freezer etc.
And a steam generator iron left in the conservatory while away a few days, same again ruptured - house heating left on but not in conservatory. About £280's worth.

You could use a cheap, safe space tube heater but a shed must have near zero heat retention other than wind chill protection so its likely to make little difference. Personally I wouldn't risk it.

If there is still cheap loft insulation about it could help if boarded over the walls and cheap polystyrene ceiling tiles no-nailed onto the ceiling.

the electrics are up to regs so no worries there.
drainage would drain into a water container/but,so maybe water the plants in the summer (yep i know it will contain detergents, but there the mrs plants so no worries there)& in winter empty down the drain.
the shed is 8m x 3m with plenty of ventilation & dry
iv had the dryer in there the last 2 years no probs sofar
floor is suspended but will sit on a rubber mat to ease vibration
i was thinking of getting some sort of insulating jacket simular to a hotwater cylender jacket
im not to bothered if it rusts external but would not want any internal rust
i rekon it will be fine, worth a try
