Hi I've tried downloading it and I keep getting this message - an error has occured after clicking 'repair components',
Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\AVG.Kernel: creating registry key....
Access is denied. (5)
Any ideas anyone? Cheers

It matters not if you try and fail, And fail, and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, And fail to try again.

I'm afraid I don't know
In actual fact I didn't use the instructions to click repair on that page - I missed them.
I just ran the installer and installed over the old version. As far as I can see (fingers crossed) it seems to have installed fine.
So you could try that and see if it just works - just installing over your previous version

Hi I'm still getting the same message despite trying all options on the download. Have got the old version so there shouldn't really be a problem. May try turning off all my security and try that way.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
