Hi there,
I have had am account with Nochex using it to pay for some small item on internet and ebay, but haven't used it now for must be going on 2 years. I think I have a balance of £5-7 in it. Tried to access it today to transfer remainder to my account and close it, but got message as Nochex account has been inactive for a while it has been suspended, and I have to go through a whole rigmorerole to get it reactivated. I have to print out a form, fill it in, send in 2 utility bills + bank statements. They say that is for my security but I can't help feeling that if its a case of too much trouble then I mightn't bother trying to reclaim my money. I did it all anways sent off today. Just a warning to anyone that if you don't use your Nochex account for a period they will suspend it.

Not a good idea to leave money in an account you are not going to use for 2 years. Always ship money out as soon as possible. There are paypal horror stories of people losing about £5,000 to paypal because their account was frozen.
Paypal and Nochex do not adhere to the banking regulations and therefore should not be treated as such.0 -
Its only a small amount in the region of £5-7 which I thought I might possibly use to buy something and never got around to, never got any emails from Nochex to say account suspended. The point I am making is if you have a small amount in a Nochex account, from my experience your account will be suspended after a lengthy period of inactivity, so you may well consider it more hassle than its worth to get the money back from Nochex. Isn't that very convenient for them!!
And no I was never in the business of selling dodgy cd's or any other dodgy stuff

damn,damn,damn..i justread you post & same has happened to me i had GBP100+
Error! Due to inactivity your account has been temporarily suspended.
In the interest of Privacy and Fraud Prevention temporary suspension ensures no information is sent to an out of date email address which could potentially be accessed by a non account holder.0 -

You read wrong. I certainly have never sold any fake/copies of anything and my a/c has been suspended due to inactivity, not used it for over a year. Had no money in it obv, who would leave money in in unused for that long ?0
