A good Emeging Markets Tracker???

Options
Anyone know of such a tracker? I had a look at Aberdeens Emerging Market performance chart compared to its sector, and it simply tracked the Index. Only out performing it during the last couple of years. So is there a tracker with similar results but lower charges?

J P Morgan have an emerging markets fund and even an emerging markets infrastructure fund amongst others. Their Wealth manager plus charges 1% initial commission. All the best.

That said, Aberdeen emerging markets has consistently outperformed sector average for some years (2007 was last time it didnt)

    Relative to sector 2.26%, 7.23%, 3.28%, 19.87%, -3.22%
    Quartile 1st 1st 2nd 1st 4th

I welcomed the slight underperformance in 2007 when I saw how well the fund weathered the stockmarket crash in 2008.

No. I mean the tracker fund that Ark Welder linked to. The class D is something like 0.29% TER.

Are you getting confused between an Index and a Sector Average?? A sector average is how well on average all funds in the sector performed. It isnt an Index because the constituent investments which would give you a sector average return are undefined.

An Index comprises a defined set of investments and their relative weighting which is published and so can be duplicated by a fund.

There is no reason why a sector average should perform like an Index.
