Hi
I want to go and open a Barclays basic bank account tommorrow, the only problem I have is that I only moved here 4 weeks ago, so whilst I have plenty of bills in my name and address, my drivers licence is still listed at the old address as I've not changed that yet, have to change the pic so am going to do it all this week.
Will this pose a problem?
I was going to take with me, both parts of the licence, my birth certificate, my council's tenancy agreement, council tax bill and a benefit letter, all of whch apart from the driving licence are in this current address, do you think they will accept this?
Oh by the way, I do not have a passport.

If you take something like the new council tax bill they're likely to accept it as is.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

From what you've said I would have thought you would be fine, the fact your address is the old one on your licence is irrelevant as this can be used to prove who you are as opposed to where you live, afterall a passport does not have your address printed in it anywhere.
The other documents should be ok to support you, any problems try a different bank.0
