Mobile Voip - Which app and which Voip provider?

I plan to get a VOIP account with a provider such as freecall.com.
(unless someone can suggest a better one)
I have a Nokia 5800 which is a Symbian phone
I want to use VOIP from internet hotspots while on my travels in Europe possibly using an app such as Nimbuzz, Fring or Talknout
Does anyone have any experience and recommendations on the best app and best (and cheapest) provider
I have had very bad experiences with Vonage and I dont get the feeling that Skype is cheap unless calling other Skype users,
Any info would be apreciated

What is your definition of cheap? 1.4p per minute seems OK to me. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/payg-rates/vinylmusic wrote: »I dont get the feeling that Skype is cheap0 -
Well how about Free?tafelmoneysaver wrote: »What is your definition of cheap? 1.4p per minute seems OK to me. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/payg-rates/
I've probably answered my own question there by suggesting Freecall.com but I have yet to discover the catch
Answers to my other questions are far more important to me. Not just who is the cheapest.
Cheapest would be best but topping that are quality and reliability.
I'm looking for the best solution to using a mobile phone abroad taking the best advantage of VOIP
I'd apreciate more comments coming from peoples experiences of using aps like those I mentioned and different VOIP providers.
I am very wary after having once been badly ripped off by Vonage
