Hi, I'm trying to find out about setting up a small camp site with a yurt or 2. Really I want it to use myself, but to hire it out for a few weeks a year to help pay for it. I've read several different things in different places, some places say I can rent it out for 28 days without planning permission, but other places say 60 days.
Does anyone know, or where I can find out for definate?

Your local council, planning department would be able to give the details regarding the area you intend to put it.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

we have loads of land and looked into yurts, but the area we are in, despite them being temp, will not allow them - so check with planning and go for it, they look ace!I will pay jexygirl the compliment of saying that she invariably writes a lot of sense!0

Be prepared to jump through waste disposal hoops, even if it's only temp ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
