in Credit cards
Hi
I have a CC with a large limit with lloyds and i have been transferring off it to 0% deals. I now also have a barclays which has ended (not one of the new 0% deals as i have had this card years) and the balance would transfer just to the one with the large limit.
Therefore is is wiser to keep the barclays as is and reduce the limit on the other card
or transfer the barclays and then close that one completly
Not sure if it is best to be viewed with cards with high limits or less cards as i hope to get a 0% deal in the future when i have paid off a small loan i have by Nov.
the apr and stuff is not much difference except i would get 0% for 6 months and 3% BT fee charged - i wouldnt get round to paying this off anytime soon and not much changing on my snowball.
Thanks:D

Generally speaking it is more difficult to get credit these days so I would not close off anything completely unless I had another card to take its place.
Whether you would get a new card or not is a decision you will have to make.0
