Forgive me I am new to this site so if this subject has been covered before I apologise.
In the next few years I am looking to invest £225,000-£240,000 in either savings or investment accounts. Of course I am looking of the best return for my money either in a lump sum or spread over a number of plans (my prefered option). In an ideal world I would like a return of £8-9,000 per year on this and if possible after one maybe two years? Is this pie in the sky figures or is this possible, I look forward to your thoughts and advice.
