Printers

I need a printer but don't want a all in one printer as I would have no need for the scanner I want to be able to do letters and the the odd picture but don't want to spend more than 100 pound at a push any suggestions.

I have an Epson stylus photo R240 and can recommend it. A quick search brings you this.
I think most people here would agree that Epson printers are good value and reasonable to run.

    Even cheaper here

What’s more, the printer has individual ink cartridges,so you only need to replace the colour that has run out, making it very economical to use.

I would steer clear of Lexmark as in my own experience the printers are fantastic prices but you end up paying loads for ink.

I have found a canon ip4200 which looks very good but the ink cartridges are chipped is it possible to get them refilled or do you have to by brand new ones

You can get 3rd party cartridges cheaply enough.
