Hello everyone, Could someone please explain how I can get my music from my PC onto my mp3?
Instructions tell me to open windows explorer, drag mp3 or wma (whatever that is) music files and drop to removable disk, displayed in windows explorer!
So far I have my mp3 plugged into pc, there is nothing on pc to show I have done this? Can I put the music I have on my pc to mp3 or do I have to download it from a site? Is IE the same as WE?
OMG! I hope this makes sense to someone out there, all advice gratefully recieved.

I know its a silly question but have you loaded the software first? ie the disc that comes with your mp3 player? (Thats the mistake I made lol)
Once you've done that, plug your mp3 player in and it should show on the bottom right of the screen.
Hopefully someone else can take it from here cos I'm not that great with these things, just wanted to point out the obvious

Hi Carmen
When you connect your MP3 player to the PC does it say found new hardware - maybe the lower right corner - if not try another USB port.
WMA - is Microsoft's version of an mp3 file - You can use MS Media Player to rip your own CD's to WMA files and play them just like mps 3 (once you get them on your player. )
Once you have connected the mp3 player and windows has found it open - A window should pop up and ask you what you want to do - Select the option to browse folders - or something like that )
Alternatively if you are not asked open Windows explorer ( Windows File Manager ) by right clicking on the "My Computer" icon on ur desktop. Now open look down the tree on the left - it should show a new disk - removable maybe an E: F: G: drive - that is your mp3 player.
Now right click over the "Start" button and click explore - in the new window - look for the folder/directory called "My Documents" double click, then double click the "My Music " folder - your music may/should be here! click on an mp3 file and drag it to the other explorer window - it will be copied there. (Alt Right click an mp3 file and select "Send to" removable disk ... )Carmen wrote:Gawd

Just put this disk in the Middle of your CD Drive as where the hole for a normal sized CD would go - it is just like a normal CD. CD's are written from the inside( nearest hole ) to the outside - so a full size CD is not needed for smaller amounts of files etc
HTH
Just need to add - as this type of mp3 player is a USB memory stick there is no need to add drivers with XP.... as OP says the instructions say it is recognised as a removable disk..Rich people save then spend.

Yes it is exactly the same process but in reverse -
the software on the lil CD maybe for making your own mp's and or a music library - but MS Media player can do the same - Never used iTunes but that is free but may be issues
seeing the number of questions about it this week but that is another way of managing ur music .. ppl will mention their favs - no doubt
Thanks for the thanks Pumpa, somethings are easy - I don't like to see ppl getting side-tracked with drivers - reformat drives etc if it is not necessaryRich people save then spend.
