    No they were food bargains, usable just I didn't actually need them and only bought them because I had money left. Hoping to reduce by £40 again next month I think, £10 a week is realistic.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Well I had a target of £200 but slightly overspent and came in at 216.55, but as that is a lot less than our normal monthly amount, I'm more than happy. So I'm going for £200 again - altho as Feb is a slightly shorter month I won't have any excuse if I go over again!

    Hi everyone first shop of the month and still doing okay, very chuffed with ownself. Have menuplanned this week as I lost the plot a bit so was armed with list and only listitems bought.

    Well done monki_man you must have a formula!

    Have shorter month too but unplanned expenses so going to be very careful. Lots of soup in the cauldron methinks.

    To be honest last week i defrosde a lot of meat for dinner, so that always helped. Also rather than making lunch in the morning, i just cook an extra portion so i can take it to work.
