Just to let all I know, I bought one of these about 3 months ago.
Brilliant for a quid!!!
Toshiba Video - OK
Yamada DVD - OK
Aiwa Midi Stereo - OK
Pace 4000 Digital Cable Box - OK on some MAIN functions
Unfortunately, the Daewoo TV did NOT work. Having said this I have tried more expensive remotes and they don't work on this either. Needless to say its gone in a cupboard as the main use was for the TV and Cable box. Shame, because overall its good - an ideal replacement for a lost remote.
None of the suggested codes worked for the devices above, however using the search function you find them very quickly.
Watch Out! - eBay'rs - some people are selling these at stupid prices (even cutting the Poundland logo off the packaging). Buy the time you have paid say £5 plus P&P you can get a brand named one from the high street cheaper. If there is a Poundland near you - go spend that quid - its worth it.

i got one of these and did the job, though its range was no more than about 2.5 metres. less than my other remotes anyway.
forget adding the codes for your devices, i could only get it to work using the find feature ie going thru all the frequencies looking for the off command. click off, if it dont work tried next frequency and so on. if off works everything else seems to work too.thanks to everyone who has thanked me!0 -
Bought two of these from Poundland months ago.
Despite carefully going through all the codes/ search facility etc. many times, couldn't get either of them to work on any of my equipment whatsoever.
Took them both back for a refund.0 -
Are these capable of use with satellite channels. I have tried using it with ntl/sky without success. Any help would be appreciated.0

These were still in stock in Poundland, Boscombe (in Bournemouth) this week if anyone is still looking for one in this part of the world.0

It only seems to have one button for HiFi/CD/etc - can the unwanted cable/sat buttons be reprogrammed like a 1-4-All universal r/c?0 -
just been into poundland didnt fancy the remote but got myself a couple of packs of cable tidy (those spiral ones) i have now been around my house looking for cables to wrap up ha ha they are ideal especially for a quid0

Good spot, great price. Even if it doesn't work, it's hardly going to bankrupt you...0
