Can anyone recommend somewhere - either on line or local to Birmingham.
Also does just over £2000 sound expensive labour wise for a complete removal and installation of a new bathroom, tiles, shower, extractor etc. Make good plaster, ceiling etc etc.
Thanks for reading.
VAT has not been mentioned - its around 17 sq yards worth of tiles if that makes a difference.
It definately needs changing as its a lovely shade of green and has seen better days. Think it was called avocado in the olden days!!!

Can't help with Birmingham, but we got a good deal from an Ebay store.
Also got quoted £4.5k for similar work to yours.......Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
try B & Q they have some good deals on bathroom suits atm.0

|I have had 2 from B&Q the oyster shell design which comes complete with taps, toilet fittings etc and I believe they are currently on offer in store from there normal £199. I would vouch for the quality of these suites I actually did not need 1 bath but I was that pleased with the quality from the first one that I could not match the price even by just buying the toilet and sink separatly especially with the taps etc included so bought the suite and sold the bath on Ebay.
On price for fitting it looks a little steep if it is simply a remove and replace in same position but it depends on how big the bathroom is as tiling is quite expensive. Does that price include VAT.0 -
https://www.plumbworld.co.uk have got some good deals in the sale section, good top brands.

We did our bathroom a few months ago, we got a pressed steel bath instead of acrylic/plastic, IMO they are much better & wear better too.
We got the bathroom sink from Ikea a small square funky one.
The bath & the taps (great taps) come from an ebay shop, but we went to the real shop to swee them first & buy them, Near Crystal Palace, South London. Great stuff if you like anything off their ebay site & great prices.
We got a (kitchen) sink unit from Ikea & the bathroom fitter chopped the back down to make the depth slimmer. We then bought extra kitchen doors & plints & worktops and with a clever bathroom fitter I now have a great bathroom that looks modern & designerish.
I like mosiak tiles(in tiny amounts), but like plain white also. So I used large (hammered finish) plain white ones put up brick style with a double row of natural mixed coloured mosiaks around the middle.
So it's white & beech (worktop & flooring) & a small amount of shades of beige/brown in the mosiaks. Stainless steel taps, pop up wastes, made to measure (also ebay) rod instead of string for light pull, handles & loo roll holder. Everything else is packed away in the sink cupboard.
You don't have to change the loo if it can be cleaned to new & the shape is modern, just box it in in the same as the sink unit - if you're going fitted that is.

Junction 2 Interiors were very good and quite competitive, they are based near J2 of the M5 on the Birmingham to Wolverhampton Road. Be prepared to haggle with them and they can cut you a deal, we bought our suite from them for our old house and it was really nice.

Just had a flyer to say bathstore.com have a sale on at the mo. I know several people that have been happy with them, & think they're fairly reasonable.
Kaldewi (?sp) metal baths are great quality & pretty cheap, usually under £100 for a 700x1700.0
